Orocco Pier Hotel Review

Featuring a restaurant and a shop, the stylish 3-star Orocco Pier Hotel South Queensferry is placed within 4.1 km of the 17th-century mansion "Hopetoun House". The boutique hotel is placed a 5-minute drive from the cantilever railway Forth Bridge, and invites guests to one of the 2 onsite restaurants.

Guests can have breakfast in the restaurant. Samphire Grill, the onsite restaurant, serves seafood cuisine, while Antico boasts seafood specialties. Seafood and grills as well as refreshing beverages are offered at the lounge bar. There is also a seafood restaurant with different Scottish dishes in the area.

St Margaret's Catholic Church is located 5 minutes' stroll from the smoke-free property, and such natural sites as Cramond Island are 15 minutes away by car. South Queensferry Pier is in close proximity to the Orocco Pier, and Edinburgh airport is 15 km away.

The nearby notable religious buildings include Priory Church, 650 metres of the stylish accommodation.

Some of the classic rooms of this Edinburgh property face the street, and comprise a balcony and a sitting area. A tub and a shower, together with such comforts as hairdryers and towels are also provided.

The Loan bus stop, offering a direct link to the city attractions and main places, is next to Orocco Pier Hotel.

Impressions

Orocco Pier is a gastronomic haven nestled in the heart of Edinburgh, where every stay is a delectable delight. From the moment I arrived, the warm welcome drink set the tone for an unforgettable experience. The 24-hour reception ensured that every craving and query could be attended to at any hour, adding a generous sprinkle of convenience to the mix. Exploring the culinary offerings, the restaurant and bar/lounge area proved to be a feast for both the palate and the eyes, with a tantalizing children's menu also on hand. The in-room breakfast was a delightful touch, ensuring that mornings began with a scrumptious start. Meanwhile, the beach access provided an idyllic backdrop for savoring each mouthwatering moment.

Furthermore, the thoughtful in-room amenities such as free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, and electric kettle offered a dash of modern comfort, while the luggage storage and cot provisions demonstrated an attentiveness to every guest's needs. The commitment to maintaining a smoke-free and pet-free environment added an extra layer of refinement, making every culinary exploration within the hotel an exquisite affair. Orocco Pier beautifully marries the art of gastronomy with the art of hospitality, leaving a lingering taste for more.
