Halcyon House Hotel Review

The 3-star Halcyon House Hotel Edinburgh is a great place to stay in New Town, initially built response to the deterioration of the medieval Old Town in the 18th century, 16 minutes' walk from Museum of Childhood.

In addition, Crag & Tail offers a variety of Scottish delicacies and lies a minute away from this smoke-free hotel.

The hotel is located within 10 minutes' stroll of Calton Hill and the restored theatre "Edinburgh Playhouse" as well as within 20 minutes' walk of Royal Mile. This Edinburgh property offers proximity to such natural sights as the green Flag park "Princes Street Gardens" (1.8 km) and the royal Holyrood Park (2.2 km).

The nearby cultural experience includes Nelson Towering Monument, which is merely 600 metres away.

Some rooms are fitted with a private bathroom.

There is Leopold Place bus stop less than a 5-minute walk away.
